We have had several Senior Olympians that have passed away in the last 2 years. In this column we would like to acknowledge their passing and let others know.
If know of a Senior Olympian that is no longer with us please send the information to Lisa Schwalb (lschwalb@gnosg.org.
I would also like to mention that memorial donations to the GNO Senior Olympics will be acknowledged in this column.
While our mission is to provide events that allow Seniors to stay active and fit, we also want to create an environment where individuals are striving for improvement.
Since 19xx, we have have honored individuals that have excelled in their sport or activity at the local, state and national levels with an induction into our Hall of Fame.
In additional to the Hall of Fame, we will begin keeping district records for sports as another method to acknowledge the accomplishments of our participants.
